Regular price $1,005.00Raviolo was done by making a continuous looped ribbon with a defined inside and outside texture that serve to make the continuous band more readable, and like stuffed pasta the ribbon appears to be inflated. We did all that with a careful consideration of the easy release from the mold.
We also confess that the overall final shape owes a lot to the efforts to achieve this idea using different techniques. So, this time the rotational molding was not just a cheap alternative to other molding techniques but the one that saved an idea that looked for another technology for a long time.

Regular price $2,180.00 “I think many people will already know my “Proust Armchair”. It is a romantic, baroque chair, on which an endless number of multi-colored dots are hand-painted using the pointillism technique. These dots cover the whole armchair, both the fabric and the wooden decorations.
It’ s a re-design work. It is, in fact, a combination of a mock-antique armchair with a detail from a painting of a garden by French artist Signac. From 1978 onwards, the “Proust Armchair” was produced in many versions, using different colors, materials and dimensions and was even made of ceramics and bronze. It travelled all around the world and was hosted in many museums.
But now some truly revolutionary news, as a paradox comes true: the “Proust Armchair” has now been transformed into an industrial rotational-molded piece. The combination of the two materials is not new, but still innovative. The structural framework of all Steelwood products is formed by steel plate painted in polyester powder, while the supporting function is given by wooden elements. The respective role of the components is visible and results in a coherent overall picture.
The Bouroullecs consider their Steelwood Chair “stable and democratic, universal and long-lasting.” Its silhouette makes it an easy chair, adaptable to any place from contract spaces to cosy homes. The use of solid materials and modern technologies associated with an artisan component led to a quality and sustainable product.

The particularity and complexity of this chair is given by the backrest that is a veritable technical gem: its curved form is achieved through a process involving nine different phases: the steel plate is perforated and bent, alternating industrial technology with artisanal attention to detail. Regular price $1,400.00Geometrical and complex, Chair One is an engineering masterpiece. A shell formed by flat triangular elements which, joined at an angle to each other, like a football, create a three-dimensional shape.
The use of aluminum die-casting technology, which allows for complex geometries, made it possible to create a collection in which the voids take over from the solids and characterize the aesthetic quality.
"When we started working on the chair, we liked the idea of exploring aluminum die-casting technology. I was attracted by the image of hot, liquid aluminum fired into a mold to create the chair. It created not only the geometry but also the structure. Chair One attempts to bring these two things together, showing a structure that is also the geometry of the chair" Konstantin Grcic says.
The process consists of forcing liquid aluminum into a metal mold under high pressure to give the shape of the item. This technique is used for mass production. In just few seconds the hot, liquid aluminum gets pressed into the heated form through special channels. After cooling the tool, it opens to set free the seating shell. The excess material gets removed and becomes re-melted.

Bell Chair is available in High Noon, Midnight and Dawn colors. It is produced with recycled polypropylene, which is obtained from the waste generated by Magis’ own furniture production and from the local car industry. The patented material excludes almost all “virgin or new” materials and can be 100% recycled again after use. This way, Bell Chair forms an almost closed material cycle.
The chair weighs just 2.7 kilograms, making it at least one and a half kilos lighter than
average plastic chairs. This fact is testament to the use of less material and causes less energy consumption during production. The key to this saving lies in its ingenious shell shape of the chair. Its bulbous geometry is not only structurally strong, but it also makes the chair extraordinarily comfortable and visually appealing.

Product Care:
We recommend using a soft rag, either dry or wet. When needed, use ph-balanced soap diluted in water. Do not use abrasive sponges as they may leave scratches. Avoid using acidic products, solvents and products containing ammonia. Periodic and correct maintenance and cleaning allows the product to keep its original look and lengthens the duration of its performance.

We use Paypal, the trusted online payment system that has been around for a long time. You don't have to have a Paypal account to submit your credit card payment. If you use Venmo on your mobile, feel free to select payments with Venmo. It's simple and straightforward, offered by Paypal.
For large items, the freight carrier will call you to set up an appointment. You will need to be present and responsible to receive your order. Upon delivery, any boxes left outside without your inspection, will not be considered if damage is present. Steps you need to take:
- Inspect your order for freight damage. If any, take pictures immediately.
- Note damage and sign the carrier receipt. You will keep a copy.
- If this is neglected, a replacement, refund or claim cannot be processed by either manufacturer or retailer.
- Keep packaging materials if damage occurred.
GENERAL TERMS / CONDITIONS OF SALE: All sales are final. Ordered goods can be replaced if received damaged and if the store is notified upon delivery, with pictures of damage, and packaging. If the store is not notified within 3 days, a replacement cannot be processed. This policy does not apply to minor variations natural to handcrafted products. SPECIAL ORDERS from any of Molecule's brands are not returnable. RETURNS will incur a 25% restocking fee and shipping charges. CANCELLATIONS of your orders are accepted for items that have not shipped or that are on backorder. Once an item has shipped, cancellation is not possible, no exceptions.
PRODUCT USE AND WARRANTIES - All products sold by MOLECULE LLC are under manufacturer's warranty. MOLECULE LLC doesn't accept any responsibility for the wrong use of any products offered. Warranties don't cover any damage due to the wrong use of products.
